Description
The Marine Corps Regional Contracting Office (RCO) – MCI-NCR, Quantico, VA, intends to award a firm-fixed-price, sole-source contract for bottled water delivery and water cooler maintenance services for Marine Corps Base (MCB) Quantico, VA. The scope of work includes the delivery of approximately 503 five-gallon water bottles per month and the rental, preventive maintenance, repair, and replacement of 38 water coolers across approximately 27 building locations. The contractor must adhere to a quarterly preventive maintenance schedule, be capable of fulfilling emergency delivery requests within 24-48 hours, and ensure all water meets FDA/EPA quality standards.
• The contractor's primary distribution facility must be located within a 60-mile driving radius of MCB Quantico to ensure rapid response times.
• The contractor must be a certified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) concern.
• The contract will be awarded under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 19.1406, Sole Source Awards to Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Concerns.
