Buchanan Center for Performing Arts – AHU & ERV Replacement

The University of Wyoming is seeking bids for the replacement of the air handling unit (AHU-3) and installation of an energy recovery ventilator (ERV) at the Buchanan Center for Performing Arts. The project includes ductwork, heating water piping, heating water coil pump, and chilled water piping within the mechanical room and the adjacent Scene Shop area. The contractor will be responsible for installing the thermowells for temperature sensors, controls valves, and other equipment. The project is expected to be completed by August 31, 2026. Key features of the project include: • Replacement of the existing air handling unit with a new one • Installation of an energy recovery ventilator • Ductwork and piping installation • Temperature control system installation • Abatement of asbestos-containing materials • Compliance with the University of Wyoming's construction standards
