Description
The State of Colorado is seeking a qualified vendor to provide a comprehensive refurbishment of the East cooling tower located at the Power Plant, 1341 Sherman St, Denver Colorado. The project includes all necessary equipment, materials, and labor, ensuring the system is fully operational upon completion. The vendor shall coordinate with the State Mechanical Shop Manager, perform Lock-Out, Tag-Out, and follow prescribed OSHA standards. The vendor shall also remove existing fill media, clean and prepare the cold water basins, side walls, and hot water basins, and install new nozzles and distribution panels.
• The cooling tower is a 2-cell tower manufactured by Marley, model 8807, S/N 3-1173-84.
• All parts and labor must include full manufacturer warranties.
• The project budget is $125,000.
• The anticipated contract start date is April 3, 2026.
• A mandatory pre-bid conference will be held on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, at 1:00pm MT.
