REPLACEMENT OF EXISTING PLASTIC WATER SERVICES WITH NEW COPPER WATER SERVICES FY26 PAVING PROGRAM DISTRICT 2 ROADS

The Town of Waterford Utility Commission is seeking bids for the replacement of existing plastic water services with new copper water services. The project includes replacing plastic water service connections with copper water service connections for all connections less than or equal to two inches in diameter. The contractor will be responsible for all materials and work required for water service installations and will coordinate all activities with the Waterford Utility Commission. The project must be completed within 30 consecutive calendar days after the notice to proceed. • The contractor must provide a certified check or bid bond in the amount of 10% of the total amount of the tendered bid. • The contractor must furnish a performance bond and a payment bond, each in the amount of 100% of the contract sum. • The contractor must provide proof of insurance and comply with all applicable laws and regulations. • The contractor must provide a list of subcontractors and their qualifications. • The contractor must comply with the prevailing wage law and provide certified payroll reports.
