Salt Bath & Heat Treat Furnace with Industrial Freezer

The DLA Weapons Support (Richmond) is seeking information from potential contractors to provide a Molten Salt Bath Tank Furnace and an Industrial Preservation Freezer. The equipment must meet specific requirements, including the use of Honeywell brand components, and the contractor must provide turn-key services, including technical data, delivery, unloading, rigging, installation, and training. The project involves replacing an existing preservation freezer and installing a new molten salt bath furnace and industrial freezer at the Fleet Readiness Center Southwest, Naval Air Station North Island, San Diego, California. Some key points to consider: • The equipment must meet specific safety and environmental requirements. • The contractor must provide a basis of estimate for the total financial budget of the requirement. • The contractor must provide a plan of action and milestones (POA&M) and an acceptance test plan (ATP). • The contractor must provide training for Government personnel on the equipment. • The contractor must ensure that all replacement parts are manufactured to definite dimensions and tolerances and are interchangeable without requiring modification.
