Description
The City of Austin is seeking a qualified contractor to supply and deliver HD‑5 propane in bulk to its storage tanks and to provide cylinder refill and exchange services for 20‑lb and 33.5‑lb cylinders. The contract will support Austin Fleet Mobility Services and may be extended up to three additional one‑year periods. The contractor must maintain required licenses, employ certified technicians, and meet strict delivery, safety, and reporting requirements. Pricing is based on a weekly index price plus a contractor‑defined differential. • Supply HD‑5 propane to one 18,000‑gal airport tank and three 1,898‑gal fleet tanks • Perform 2,500+ cylinder refills/exchanges annually • Deliver within regular business hours, with “Code Red” 24‑hour expedited service available • Provide a single point of contact available 24/7 • Submit invoices within 48 hours of delivery and detailed usage reports • Minimum 3 years experience, Texas Railroad Commission certification, and two qualified technicians required
