Description
Luzerne County is seeking proposals for the migration and upgrade of the Luzerne County Department of Emergency Services - 911 Communications internal GIS environment. The selected vendor will be expected to provide services including system design review and recommendations, migration and implementation assistance, security and data integrity, training and knowledge transfer, and post go-live support. The proposal should demonstrate an understanding of mission-critical operations, the need for high availability, and the importance of ensuring that GIS infrastructure is resilient, secure, and adaptable for future needs.
• The current ArcGIS Enterprise environment (version 10.3.1) has become outdated and is approaching end-of-life.
• The upgrade to ArcGIS Enterprise 11.5 will ensure that Luzerne County’s 911 Communications Division can continue to maintain high-quality GIS data, support CAD mapping, and coordinate effectively with the County GIS Department.
• The selected vendor will be expected to provide updated system diagrams and enterprise configuration documentation, a fully migrated ArcGIS Enterprise 11.5 environment, a security and data integrity plan, training materials and knowledge transfer sessions, and go-live support and performance monitoring report.
