Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Administration (VHA), is seeking potential sources for Material Handling Equipment Maintenance Support Services for the VA Western Colorado Health Care System (WCHCS) in Grand Junction, CO. The services include preventive maintenance, unscheduled maintenance repair, replacement, and upgrade parts/equipment for various material handling equipment. The contractor will be required to perform all required inspections, preventative and corrective maintenance on the powered industrial material handling equipment to increase reliability and reduce the risk of unplanned downtime.
• The equipment list includes Telehandler, Fork Truck, Pallet Truck, and Industrial Forklift Battery Chargers.
• The contractor shall complete the service work required in the Statement of Work (SOW) and comply with the latest versions of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) 1910.178, ANSI/ITSDF B56.1, and ANSI/ITSDF B56.6.
• The contractor shall provide a written service report including all deficiencies discovered, all test results, all parts cleaned, repaired, or calibrated, a quote for labor and parts, and a proposed timeline to repair any reported deficiencies.
• The minimum required equipment uptime for material handling equipment covered under this contract is 90% within a given performance period.
