Description
The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet is seeking bids for equipment rental services for highway drain cleaning in District 5. The contract will be for an initial period of one year, with the option to extend for four additional one-year periods. The successful bidder will be required to provide equipment and services for drain cleaning, sewer line inspection, and traffic control. The bid will be awarded to the lowest responsive bidder.
Key features of the job include:
* Cleaning of various types of drains, including bridge scuppers, median box inlets, and catch basins
* Provision of water jet cleaning equipment and color video inspection cameras
* Maintenance of traffic and provision of traffic control devices
* Compliance with Kentucky Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction and the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices
* Insurance requirements, including general liability and workers' compensation insurance
