TO PROVIDE EMERGENCY SERVICES

Erie County’s Department of Social Services seeks a qualified non‑profit or certified MBE/WBE vendor to administer emergency‑needs vouchers (or direct purchases) for low‑income, primarily homeless clients referred by the county’s Homeless Team. The vendor will assess client needs, issue vouchers for food, personal‑care items, prescriptions, or purchase items directly, maintain retailer relationships, document all transactions, and submit monthly billing to the county. The service must be trauma‑informed, culturally sensitive, and accessible via public transit, operating at least 8:30 a.m.‑5:00 p.m. Monday‑Friday, with capacity for 10‑15 clients per month.
