Notice of Intent to award Secur-Serv Inc. and Scantron for supplies and services

The Department of Fire Services is seeking a qualified vendor to provide goods and services for Scantron brand equipment, consumables, and products. The vendor may be required to install, maintain, and repair Scantron test scoring machines and provide related diagnostic services at three locations. The expected duration of the contract is two years with two options to renew for an additional two years each, for a total maximum contract duration of six years. The Department is utilizing a Due Diligence Posting to ensure an open, fair, and competitive process. Key points to consider: * The vendor must be an authorized vendor of maintenance and support services on the iNSIGHT and OpScan brand scanners manufactured and sold by SCN Worldwide d/b/a Scantron. * The vendor must provide an authorization letter from SCN Worldwide proving authorization of selling goods and/or providing services. * The vendor must offer goods and/or services statewide. * The vendor must provide service within 5 business days of request. * The vendor must provide replacement parts and consumables. * The vendor must honor warranty or provide warranty details. * The vendor must provide pricing for their authorized goods and/or services.
