Description
The Alabama Department of Human Resources is seeking a qualified HVAC contractor to perform preventive‑maintenance (PM) visits and minor repairs on existing HVAC equipment at multiple DHR county facilities. The work must be completed within the contract period of July 1 2026 through September 30 2026, with one PM visit per location and any identified repairs finished by the end date. The contractor must hold Alabama HVAC, refrigeration, and master gas‑fitter licenses, provide EPA Section 608 certification for all technicians, and submit detailed inspection forms, before/after photos, and water‑treatment reports where applicable. Payment will be based on a unit‑price bid covering the entire PM visit per site, plus approved repair quotes.
• Scope: Quarterly‑style preventive‑maintenance, filter replacement, coil cleaning, refrigerant checks, electrical/mechanical inspections, and minor repairs on split‑system furnaces, heat‑pumps, air‑handlers, boilers, chillers, and cooling towers.
• Requirements: State‑licensed HVAC contractor, EPA‑certified technicians, water‑treatment certification for water‑cooled sites, documentation (forms A/D/K, photos, signatures) for each visit.
• Deliverables: Completed inspection forms, signed acceptance, photo documentation, water‑treatment analysis, EPA refrigerant reports, and written repair quotations with PO approval.
