Description
The United States Transportation Command (USTRANSCOM) is seeking sources that possess the availability and capability to provide scheduled fuel barge transportation services in the Gulf region. The scope of the requirement includes the transportation of Department Of War-owned bulk Jet A Aviation Fuel (JAA), Jet Propellant 5 (JP5), and F76 marine diesel by tug and barge between all ordered United States ports and points on the Gulf of America and the Lower Mississippi River and their connecting waterway and tributaries.
• The Government will schedule the pick-up and delivery of the identified fuels from, to, and between the operational areas without restriction.
• The Government reserves the right to change the schedule at any time to include standing by at an origin, destination, or intermediate point as specified by the Government.
• Contractor supplied equipment and crews in support of this service must be available exclusively to the Government at all times, 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, for transporting cargo to and between the points stipulated.
