The City of Big Rapids is seeking a qualified contractor to provide rental, delivery, installation, and ongoing service of portable toilets (including ADA‑compliant units) and hand‑washing stations at multiple city parks and special‑event sites. The contractor must perform weekly (or more frequent) cleaning, waste removal, restocking of supplies, and respond to repairs within 24 hours. All work is to be performed 7 days a week, including holidays, with a 48‑hour notice for short‑term event rentals. No subcontracting is permitted, and the contractor must carry the specified insurance limits and submit required certifications.
• Provide standard and handicap‑accessible portable toilets at nine park locations with seasonal service windows (Nov‑Apr, Jan‑Dec, Apr‑Nov).
• Supply and maintain hand‑washing stations for special events (2‑6 units per event) with 48‑hour advance notice.
• Perform routine weekly cleaning, waste tank emptying, restocking of toilet paper, soap, sanitizer, and exterior debris removal; respond to any vandalism or unit failure within 24 hours.
