Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a contractor to renovate B211A for specialty care. The project involves various tasks such as demolition, construction, and installation of new systems. The contractor will be required to manage their project schedule to complete all work within the 240 calendar days to include submittals and material procurement. Some key aspects of the project include:
• Demolition of existing Nurse Call device and med gas piping
• Installation of new plumbing and electrical systems
• Construction of temporary ICRA barriers
• Compliance with VA Notice of Limitations on Subcontracting
• Requirement for a Site Superintendent and a separate individual for the role of CQC
The contractor will need to provide their own pictures to document job progress, and construction signage will be required to be posted at construction entrances. The project is set aside for certified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses.
