Deliveries of bulk medical grade helium (HE), carbon dioxide (CO2) and the rental of 2,000-liter CO2 micro-bulk storage tanks

The Naval Diving and Salvage Training Center (NDSTC) has a recurring requirement for the delivery of bulk medical grade helium (HE) and carbon dioxide (CO2), as well as the rental of 2,000-liter CO2 micro-bulk storage tanks. The vendor will be responsible for delivering approximately 45,000 standard cubic feet of bulk HE and 68,000 lbs of CO2 per year. The rental of the CO2 storage tanks will include general maintenance, urgent repairs, and notification of tank levels and warnings via a telemetry unit. The period of performance is anticipated to be from 01 September 2026 to 31 August 2027, with four option years. Key requirements include: • Delivery of bulk medical grade helium (HE) and carbon dioxide (CO2) • Rental of 2,000-liter CO2 micro-bulk storage tanks with telemetry units • General maintenance, urgent repairs, and notification of tank levels and warnings • Compliance with US Navy Divers Compressed Helium Breathing Purity Requirements (Military Specification MIL-PRF-27407) • Ability to provide CO2 as required, with an anticipated delivery schedule of 2-3 times per month
