Description
The Commonwealth of Kentucky is seeking a contractor to provide janitorial services for the Glasgow State Nursing Facility, Western State Hospital, and Central State Hospital. The contractor will be responsible for providing environmental services, including cleaning, disinfecting, and maintaining the facilities. The contract will be for a period of 12 months, with the option to renew. The contractor must comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and policies, and must provide sufficient qualified personnel to perform the necessary duties.
• Key responsibilities include: cleaning and disinfecting patient rooms, common areas, and offices; providing laundry services; and maintaining the cleanliness of the facilities.
• The contractor must also comply with all safety and security protocols, including the use of proper cleaning equipment and supplies, and the handling of biohazardous waste.
• The contractor will be required to attend site visits and meetings with facility staff, and must provide a detailed implementation plan and transition schedule.
• The contractor must also provide proof of liability insurance and workers' compensation insurance.
• The contract will be awarded based on the best value to the Commonwealth, considering factors such as price, experience, and qualifications.
