Description
California DOT is seeking a qualified small‑business electrical contractor to provide complete exterior building‑mounted lighting services at its District 11 Kearny Mesa Lab in San Diego County. The work includes supplying all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals to install ten adjustable‑beam security fixtures, associated controls, conduit, and necessary power connections while meeting Title 24, NEC, and seismic standards. The contractor must hold a valid C‑10 (Electrical) license, be registered with the DIR, and comply with prevailing‑wage and DVBE/SB‑MB requirements.
• Install ten exterior lighting fixtures plus controls (photocells, timers, motion sensors) and run conduit from the nearest existing panel.
• Perform all required electrical wiring, core‑drilling, wall patching, repainting, and site cleanup in accordance with state codes and SB 1383 waste‑recycling rules.
• Provide warranty, weekly certified payroll, insurance, and a 100 % payment bond (contract > $25 k); all work must be completed by 05/31/2027.
