Enterprise Cybersecurity Monitoring and Response Program

The University of Southern Mississippi is seeking a comprehensive, cloud-delivered managed security service to enhance its ability to prevent, detect, investigate, and respond to cybersecurity threats. The solution must provide continuous monitoring, advanced threat detection, and coordinated incident response, as well as ongoing security posture optimization through reporting, recommendations, and prioritized remediation guidance. The selected solution must integrate with the University's existing enterprise technology environment and support centralized visibility and management of security events. • The solution must be scalable, secure, and capable of evolving with emerging threats and institutional growth. • The solution must provide access to a 24x7 Security Operations Center (SOC) staffed by trained cybersecurity professionals. • The solution must be able to integrate with the University's existing infrastructure, including cloud-based identity and collaboration platforms, user workstations, on-premises and cloud-hosted servers, and integrated security systems. • The solution must support institutional governance, risk management, and compliance requirements while minimizing operational disruption and enhancing the University's overall cybersecurity resilience.
