The Shelby County Board of Education is seeking a qualified commercial moving firm to provide daily moving, packing, disassembly, and delivery services for its warehouse and fulfillment operations. The contractor must field three 26‑ft lift‑gate trucks and a crew of nine movers each workday, handling equipment, technology, textbooks, and obsolete furniture, and deliver items to designated drop‑off sites while complying with safety, insurance, background‑check, and reporting requirements. The contract is a one‑year fixed‑price agreement with two optional one‑year renewals, and offers a local‑preference point boost for Shelby County‑based businesses.
