RFQ for Fee Accountant

The Lafayette Housing Authority is seeking a qualified fee accounting firm to provide comprehensive accounting services for a three‑year period. The contractor will maintain general and subsidiary ledgers, prepare required HUD and Section 8 reports, assist with budgeting, annual financial schedules, and other grant‑related documentation. The work includes both routine monthly accounting tasks and periodic special reports, with occasional assistance on operating subsidy submissions and year‑end tax filings. • Prepare HUD Form 52267, monthly trial balances, transaction ledgers, and Section 8 voucher utilization projections. • Produce monthly VMS reports, CFP grant reports, and annual unaudited financial schedules for HUD REAC. • Provide supplemental services such as budget preparation, cost allocation tools, bank reconciliations, AP review, W‑2/1099 assistance, and grant reconciliation.
