Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is seeking information from potential qualified sources capable of installing a camera system for the VA Police Secure Communications Center (SCC) at the James A. Haley Veterans Hospital in Tampa, FL. The selected contractor will provide turn-key services for installation of the required equipment, including design, project management, and installation of the SCC Camera system. The contractor will also provide all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, and supervision necessary to satisfy the needs of this contract. The system software should be Video Edge, and the contractor should provide a 1-year warranty on the work performed.
Some key requirements include:
• Installing existing VA-supplied equipment needed to develop facility camera system monitoring
• Providing labor to install equipment on site
• Installing equipment in VA-provided racks and installing VA-provided computer equipment on 5 workstations
• Providing device hardening services for qualified equipment
• Running cabling as necessary
• Connecting existing camera feeds and activating the system
• Coordinating with Tampa FMS Projects to finalize all installation details
