Purchase of snow removal trucks

The United States Air Force is seeking to purchase two snow removal trucks with snowplows, salt spreaders, and all associated controls and safety devices. The trucks must meet the requirements of local German road traffic regulations, general work safety regulations, and UVV (Unfallverhuetungsvorschrift/Accident Prevention Regulation). The contractor will be responsible for delivering the trucks to Spangdahlem Air Base, Germany, and providing instruction/training on the equipment upon delivery. The evaluation criteria for this solicitation will be based on the vendor's responsibility, responsiveness, and ability to provide the best value. • The trucks must have a basic color of typical municipal orange. • The trucks must be equipped with snowplows, salt spreaders, and all associated controls and safety devices. • The trucks must meet the requirements of local German road traffic regulations, general work safety regulations, and UVV. • The contractor must provide instruction/training on the equipment upon delivery. • The trucks must be delivered with all attachments installed and ready to use for snow removal. • The contractor must provide a compatible trailer with each truck.
