Invitation to Bid # 10-028-26 – Air Handler Replacement (Anchorage, Alaska)

The State of Alaska, Department of Natural Resources, is seeking bids for the replacement of an air handler unit (AHU) at a building in Anchorage, Alaska. The project includes the removal of the existing AHU and its components, and the installation of a new packaged rooftop unit with factory controls and natural gas heat. The contractor will be responsible for all labor, materials, equipment, and services necessary to complete the project. The project must be completed by June 30, 2027. • The existing AHU is a custom rooftop penthouse system with a capacity of approximately 70 tons and 27,000 CFM. • The new AHU must be a packaged rooftop unit with factory controls and natural gas heat. • The contractor must provide a payment bond and a performance bond in the amount of 100% of the contract. • The contractor must comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and codes. • The contractor must provide a certificate of insurance and maintain insurance coverage throughout the project. • The contractor must indemnify and hold harmless the State of Alaska and its employees from any claims or liabilities arising from the project.
