Alcohol and Beverage Concessions

The City of Columbia is seeking a contractor to provide alcoholic beverage sales and service at Finlay Park during City-sponsored and third-party events. The contractor will be responsible for obtaining and maintaining all necessary licenses and permits, providing professional service to the public, and offering a full range of bar and alcoholic beverage services at various cost options. The contractor will also be required to provide all necessary furnishing and equipment to create an attractive and inviting sales and service environment. Some key responsibilities include: providing high-quality, friendly, and professional services at reasonable prices; working in unison with the Program Manager or his/her designee during the normal course of business and as unforeseen issues arise; and providing adequate certified personnel to check IDs and issue wrist bands at the vending location. The contract term is expected to be three years, with the option to continue for two additional one-year periods. Some of the key requirements for the contractor include: • Providing professional service to the public which enhances the event experience • Offering and providing a full range of bar and alcoholic beverage services at various cost options • Assisting and coordinating planning activities to ensure all bar and beverage services are executed to the satisfaction of the customer • Providing high-quality, friendly, and professional services at reasonable prices • Providing all necessary furnishing and equipment to create an attractive and inviting sales and service environment • Working in unison with the Program Manager or his/her designee during the normal course of business and as unforeseen issues arise • Providing adequate certified personnel to check IDs and issue wrist bands at the vending location
