Description
The Butts County Board of Commissioners is soliciting competitive sealed bids from qualified vendors to supply fuel on a contracted basis for the period beginning August 1, 2026, to July 31, 2027. The contract may be renewed for up to two additional years. The vendor will furnish fuel according to the specifications on an as-needed basis. The price paid per gallon for each petroleum product may increase or decrease daily, based on the contract average price OPIS.
• The vendor must provide specification sheets and technical information regarding the products delivered.
• Deliveries are expected within a 24-hour period from the time the order is placed.
• The vendor is responsible for any spills and clean-up costs associated with deliveries made to the facility.
• The vendor shall submit a Plan of Action to minimize fuel supply interruption in case of an emergency.
• The vendor shall ensure all trash generated by the work performed shall be removed from the site and properly disposed of as each work operation is completed.
