Description
The University of Pittsburgh is seeking a comprehensive refresh of its VMware VxRail infrastructure. The scope includes procurement of Dell PowerEdge R660 servers, Dell vSAN Ready Nodes, PowerStore storage, Cisco Nexus networking gear, APC rack and power equipment, and associated cabling, together with professional services to install and configure a new VMware Cloud Foundation 9.x environment and enable vSphere Kubernetes Service. The vendor must provide an operational‑expense lease for compute/storage hardware (5‑year term) and capital‑expense purchase for networking and rack components, guarantee price stability despite supply‑chain disruptions, and complete delivery and implementation by Q2 FY27.
