The City is also interested in evaluating value-add services, such as small business programs, consulting services, training and education, and green/sustainability programs.
Some of the key requirements for the contractor include:
- Having a strong national presence in the janitorial and sanitation supply industry
- Having a distribution model capable of delivering products nationwide
- Having a demonstrated sales presence
- Having the ability to meet the minimum requirements of the cooperative purchasing program
- Having a full range of products, supplies, and services to meet the demands of the City and all agencies that opt to participate in the cooperative purchasing program.
The City anticipates spending approximately $200 million over the full potential Master Agreement term for these services.
