Library Digital Asset Management System

The University of Florida is seeking a scalable Digital Asset Management System to replace its current SobekCM platform that hosts the UF Digital Collections. The contract will be for an initial five‑year term with two optional one‑year extensions, centralizing storage, discovery, and distribution of roughly 1.3 million existing digital assets while supporting the addition of up to 5,000 new items per month. Vendors must demonstrate technical capability, support quality, pricing value, and prior success in higher‑education environments. • Replace SobekCM with a robust, scalable DAMS supporting advanced search, bulk metadata editing, and role‑based access. • Provide ongoing support, monitoring, logging, and error‑reporting to ensure high uptime. • Deliver a solution that can scale to 100 TB of storage and integrate with university authentication (SSO/Shibboleth) and metadata standards.
