The City of Palm Springs is seeking a qualified firm to assume full‑service food‑and‑beverage (F&B) operations for the Palm Springs Convention Center (PSCC). The contractor will manage all catering, concession stands, vending, and alcoholic‑beverage service, operate a dedicated catering & concession account, develop annual sales‑and‑marketing plans, and participate in a $125 million renovation/expansion project. The contract runs for an initial five‑year term with an optional five‑year renewal, and compensation is performance‑based (fee/commission on net receipts). • Provide banquet, meeting‑room, and “three‑consecutive‑meals” catering for up to 3,000 guests per event. • Operate permanent/portable concession stands, vending machines, and all alcoholic‑beverage sales (requiring a CA ABC license). • Maintain separate accounting, monthly/annual financial reporting, and contribute $350,000 annually to a capital‑replacement reserve. • Participate in design‑team meetings for the ongoing PSCC renovation and comply with sustainability mandates (SB 1383, local food‑ware ordinance). • Submit a technical proposal (≤ 100 pages) and cost proposal via the PlanetBids portal by 21 April 2026.
