Walkin Refrigerator/ Freezer Replacement

The US Air Force is seeking a contractor to replace the walk-in refrigerator and freezer at the 182nd Airlift Wing in Peoria, IL. The contractor will need to remove, replace, and repair the condenser unit, evaporator unit, and combination control box serving the commercial refrigerator and freezer. The work must restore the system to full operational reliability in accordance with commercial food service standards and all applicable codes. The contractor will need to coordinate with Simplex/JCI to tie in existing notifications to the fire alarm system, ECSI to tie into building automation monitoring and alarm system, and Western Specialty Contractors for any roof penetrations so not to void any warranties provided by any of the aforementioned contractors. • The contract is for a firm fixed price. • The project location is Building 628 at the 182nd Airlift Wing in Peoria, IL. • The contractor will need to provide all materials, tools, equipment, labor, and supervision necessary to complete the work. • The contractor will need to coordinate with other contractors and government personnel to ensure a smooth and successful project.
