RFP 2526H312 Alaska Marine Highway System (AMHS) Salvage and Marine Firefighting- Amended

The Department of Transportation and Public Facilities, Division of Alaska Marine Highway System (AMHS), is soliciting proposals for salvage and marine firefighting services. The selected contractor will provide services for all current and future vessels in the AMHS fleet, including performing as salvor, providing emergency lightering and marine firefighting services, and responding to actual and potential incidents. The contractor will also participate in training exercises to ensure compliance with State and Federal regulations. Key responsibilities include: • Performing salvage and marine firefighting services for AMHS vessels • Providing emergency lightering and responding to actual and potential incidents • Participating in training exercises for compliance with State and Federal regulations • Maintaining a signed Funding Agreement for the duration of the contract • Identifying and acting as the primary resource provider for AMHS in its Coast Guard Vessel Response Plans
