HVAC and Plumbing

YES Prep Public Schools is seeking a highly qualified, competent, licensed HVAC and plumbing contractor to maintain, repair, and test HVAC systems, HVAC-related plumbing components, and mechanical equipment across their campuses. The contractor must be experienced in servicing a variety of equipment, including chillers, AHUs, RTUs, boilers, pumps, and associated controls. The scope of work includes preventive maintenance, repairs and troubleshooting, gas testing, plumbing, documentation and records, safety and compliance, and response time requirements. The selected contractor must meet the requirements outlined in the RFP, including experience, knowledge, ability, and communication requirements. • The initial term of the contract is one year, with the option to renew for up to three additional one-year terms. • The contractor must provide a single, dedicated point of contact for YES Prep to call for requests and customer service. • The contractor must respond to YES Prep phone calls and emails within 8 hours. • The contractor must provide status updates on all open tickets and work orders, including estimated completion time, scheduling updates, and notification of any delays. • The contractor must maintain accurate records of all work performed, equipment performance, and inspections. • The contractor must be willing to work nights, weekends, or holidays if requested by YES Prep to avoid disruption to daily school operations.
