Description
The City and Borough of Sitka is seeking qualified contractors to replace the standby diesel generators at two municipal lift stations (Jamestown Bay and HPR Cove). The scope includes removal of existing generators, modification of concrete foundations, installation of new Caterpillar C4.4 LCABR D50‑LC2 packaged diesel generators, associated automatic transfer switches, load banks, updated electrical and fuel‑oil systems, and required testing and commissioning. The contract is a fixed‑price, performance‑bonded solicitation with a bid deadline of October 21, 2026 and required completion by late August 2027.
• Remove and dispose of existing diesel generators and related equipment.
• Provide structural modifications (concrete pads, steel supports, shop‑primed steel) for new generator skids.
• Install new generators, ATS, load banks, and all associated electrical, mechanical, and safety systems.
• Perform testing, commissioning, and warranty documentation.
