Description
The American Embassy in Cyprus is seeking a contractor to provide construction services for a technical security upgrade. The scope of work includes mobilization and investigation, excavation, concrete and remediation, pipe laying, manhole installation, and excess material disposal. The contractor will be required to provide labor, materials, equipment, and services to complete the work. The contract will be a firm fixed price contract, and the contractor will be responsible for ensuring that all work is completed in accordance with the specifications and requirements provided.
Key aspects of the project include:
• The contractor will be required to install all conduits complete with required fittings, couplers, sweeps, caps, and pull rope.
• The contractor will be responsible for repairing structures to required elevations and uniform along the pull length of each structure.
• The contractor will be required to provide adequate compaction testing to verify that backfill materials meet the specified density requirements.
• The contractor will be responsible for ensuring that all concrete surfaces are properly cured to achieve the specified strength and durability characteristics.
