RFI - Maryland Workforce Exchange (MWE) SaaS

The Maryland Department of Labor is seeking information from qualified vendors regarding innovative solutions to replace the division’s Maryland Workforce Exchange (MWE). The MWE is a software platform used for tracking all USDOL workforce programs, as well as local funded programs. The ideal vendor will have experience with state workforce oversight programs as well as with organizations of similar size and scope. Some key features of the MWE include: • Providing job seekers with registration capabilities to post resumes and search for jobs • Enabling employers to create customized searches that deliver job postings and/or candidates electronically • Enabling training providers to create accounts and post course opportunities • Providing advanced case management capabilities for job seekers and employers • Allowing State and local workforce staff to record services, assessments, and program participation while tracking outcomes • Providing document management capabilities for the upload and storage of electronic documents and signatures • Providing a robust Software as a Service (SaaS) solution capable of collecting, managing, and reporting data that meets the requirements for the USDOL.
