Q301--Reference Lab for Send Out

The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a reference laboratory to provide clinical and anatomic pathology diagnostic testing services for the Phoenix Veterans Affairs Health Care System. The contractor will be responsible for providing all necessary labor, supplies, equipment, and supervision to perform reference laboratory services, including specimen preparation and storage, transportation of specimens, performance of analytical testing, reporting of test results, and consultative services. The contract will be for a base year with four option years. The contractor must be CLIA certified and maintain valid certifications throughout the performance period. Key aspects of the job include: * Providing reference laboratory services, including specimen preparation and storage, transportation of specimens, performance of analytical testing, reporting of test results, and consultative services * Maintaining CLIA certification and adhering to HIPAA regulations * Providing customer service and support to Government staff * Participating in a joint quality assurance surveillance program with the Phoenix VAHCS * Submitting reports and performance metrics to the Contracting Officer and COR * Ensuring the safety and integrity of specimens and test results * Complying with VA security and privacy directives and handbooks
