UV-Vis-NIR and FTIR Spectrometers

Oakland University is soliciting proposals for two separate spectrometers: an UV-Vis-NIR and a FTIR for use within the Department of Mechanical Engineering. The equipment must meet specific requirements, including functionality, wavelength range, and spectral resolution. Respondents must demonstrate relevant experience and expertise, and provide detailed specifications, cost proposals, and insurance certificates. The university reserves the right to accept or reject any bid, and to negotiate with finalists. • The UV-Vis-NIR spectrometer must be able to perform transmittance, reflectance, and additional measurements, with a wavelength range of 175-3300 nm and spectral resolution of less than 0.1 nm. • The FTIR spectrometer must be able to perform ATR, transmittance, and reflectance measurements, with a wavelength range of 5000-400 cm-1 and spectral resolution of less than 0.1 cm-1. • Respondents must provide an alternate price for the specified items based on modified specifications. • The university requires FOB Destination, freight pre-paid and added, and the supplier must agree to these terms.
