Description
The City of Bakersfield is seeking a contractor to provide on-call construction inspection services for public works projects from 2026 to 2027. The contractor will be required to perform inspections and other related activities as needed. The contractor must have experience in construction inspection services and hold the necessary professional degrees and licenses. The contractor will be paid an hourly rate for their services, with a maximum compensation of $500,000.
• The contractor must have errors and omissions insurance to protect the City of Bakersfield in case of professional errors or omissions.
• The contractor must comply with all municipal, state, and federal authorities' requirements.
• The contractor must maintain accurate accounting records and make them available to the City upon request.
• The contractor must indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the City and its officers, agents, and employees against any liability, claims, or demands arising from the performance of the scope of work.
