Description
The United States Coast Guard is seeking a contractor to perform dry-dock repairs at the USCG STA NATIONAL MOTOR LIFEBOAT SCHOOL (NMLS). The work includes cofferdam repairs, sea valve maintenance, and other tasks. The contractor must fabricate and install a cofferdam in accordance with UWSH S0600-AA-PRO-160. The period of performance is from 30 June 2026 to 28 September 2026.
• The contractor must provide individual diver certification documentation for each diver.
• The contractor must maintain double-valve protection using two of the following: sea chest valve, internal blank-off, or external cofferdam, patch, or plug.
• The contractor must notify the COR at least 24 hours prior to removing the sea valve and install an external patch and an internal gasketed blank immediately after the sea valve is removed.
• The contractor must turn over fabricated cofferdam(s) to the Coast Guard Property Administrator for disposition.
