Gene Synthesis Services

Iowa State University of Science and Technology is seeking bids for gene synthesis services on a five-year contract basis. The contract may be renewed for an additional 5-year term upon expiration of the initial term and subject to evaluation of vendor performance and pricing presented for the renewal term. The university estimates that approximately $50,000 in annual spend will be requested, with services including approximately 70 lanes of 100bp single-end reads. • The contract will be awarded based on the criteria set forth in the RFP/RFQ documents. • The university may request additional documents or proposal clarifications after the due date and time for proposal submission. • The university may reject any or all proposals. • The contractor must identify all parties who will be involved with the performance of the contract. • The contractor must clearly state any exceptions to or deviations from the RFP/RFQ documents.
