Fiber Optic Installation Services

The Town of Dighton is seeking bids for the purchase and installation of a municipally-dedicated fiber optic cable and related services. The scope of work includes furnishing all necessary equipment, supplies, materials, tools, supervisors, labor, permits, approvals, bonds, and other incidental services to provide fiber optic installation services at specified locations in the Town of Dighton, Massachusetts. Key locations include the Dighton Transfer Station, Dighton Animal Shelter, Water Tower, and Dighton Library. The contract is expected to be completed by March 30, 2026. • The contractor will be responsible for installing fiber optic cables, terminating connections, and testing the system. • The contractor must work with the Town to obtain necessary permits and ensure compliance with prevailing wage laws. • The contractor will be required to provide a bid deposit in the form of a bid bond, certified bank or treasurer's check made payable to the Town of Dighton. • The Town reserves the right to waive informalities, accept or reject any and all bids, and take any other action deemed in the best interest of the Town.
