Description
The Georgia Department of Transportation is seeking a qualified firm to provide Regionalized Statewide Operational Improvement Services. The selected firm will provide consultant services for projects related to intersection, interchange, and corridor improvements, roundabouts, and other innovative intersection design concepts. The firm will perform various design-related tasks, including traffic engineering studies, traffic modeling, and preparation of concept reports. The contract is expected to include requests for analysis of unconventional intersections, and the firm must have knowledgeable personnel and appropriate modeling software. The contract will be an on-call, indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract with a minimum dollar amount of $25,000 and a maximum dollar amount of $12,000,000. The contract term is expected to be up to 5 years.
• The firm must have experience in traffic engineering, transportation planning, and design-related tasks.
• The firm must have knowledge of GDOT-specific processes, manuals, and guidance.
• The firm must have experience in managing on-call contracts and assigning and managing services performed by sub-consultants.
• The firm must have a strong team with a project manager, key team leaders, and key team members with relevant experience and qualifications.
