Description
The Ohio Department of Transportation is seeking professional design services for the replacement of two Full-Service Maintenance Facilities in Henry and Wyandot counties. The selected A/E team will be responsible for providing design services, including program verification, schematic design, design development, construction document preparation, bid and award support, and construction administration. The project will be delivered using the General Contracting method, and the A/E team will be required to work with the Owner and Contracting Authority to develop the Program of Requirements. The project includes the design of various buildings and structures, such as truck storage buildings, administration sections, mechanical services sections, and salt storage structures.
• The project is estimated to have a construction cost of around $15 million to $28 million.
• The A/E team will be required to participate in the Encouraging Diversity, Growth & Equity (EDGE) Program.
• The project will be constructed in phases, with the construction notice to proceed anticipated for March 2027 and substantial completion of all work anticipated for May 2028.
• The A/E team will be required to provide not less than 12 hours of on-site construction administration services per week.
• The project will include the design of various systems, such as HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
