RFQ: On-Call Stone Sculpture Art Commissions

The City of Rock Hill is establishing an on‑call program for the creation and installation of stone sculpture artworks. Qualified artists will be selected to design and fabricate sculptures ranging from 4 to 10 feet in height, to be placed at various public locations throughout the city. Each piece will be commissioned on a by‑request basis, allowing the city to enhance its visual landscape and celebrate local heritage. • Scope: Design, fabricate, and install stone sculptures (4‑10 ft tall). • Delivery: On‑call, project‑by‑project as the city requests. • Requirements: Demonstrated experience with stone carving, ability to manage installation logistics, and compliance with city aesthetic guidelines. • Evaluation: Based on artistic merit, technical capability, cost‑effectiveness, and relevance to community identity.
