Surplus Bank Sand

The Town of Bourne is seeking bids for the sale and removal of 400,000 tons of surplus bank sand located at the Town of Bourne landfill site. The selected contractor will be responsible for removing the material within 550 calendar days and shall be paid a unit price per ton compensation. The contractor shall also provide the means for loading trucks at the site. • The bid includes the removal of up to 400,000 tons of surplus bank sand. • The contractor shall remove the material at their own cost and expense. • The contractor shall provide the means for loading trucks at the site. • The town will control the final grades and boundaries associated with excavation of the Phase 7 landfill area. • The contractor shall not dig beyond the established grades or boundaries.
