Request for Proposals (RFP): Water Restoration Plant Pump and Motor Rebuild

The City of Grants Pass is requesting proposals to rebuild one immersible sewage pump and motor to remanufactured condition. The pump is a 10 X 5, model H5K-MH-HEUC4, Wemco Hidrostal centrifugal screw pump. The work includes replacing O-rings, bearings, mechanical seals, testing, and ensuring the unit works correctly. The City's staff will remove and ship the unit to the contractor's facility, and the contractor will ship the completed unit back to the WRP. The contractor will be responsible for start-up assistance, vibration, frequency, performance testing, and ensuring the unit operates within its rated parameters. • The pump will be rebuilt to "remanufactured" condition. • The contractor will provide a list of Wemco Hidrostal screw centrifugal pumps rebuilt within the last five years. • The contractor will be responsible for shipping the completed unit back to the WRP. • The contractor will perform vibration and frequency testing to ensure the pump operates at ≤ 2 mils peak-to-peak displacement. • The unit will be painted with quality, industrial enamel paint. • The contractor will label all control cables according to the City's standard.
