R--Cancelled: RFI for Records Digitization Services

The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) is seeking information from vendors capable of providing on-site document digitization services for approximately 2,000 boxes of classified and unclassified paper records. The goal is to convert these physical records into digital formats that are NARA-compliant and can be integrated into a future commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) electronic records management (ERM) system. The DOE is looking for vendors with experience in providing secure, on-site digitization to federal government agencies. Key aspects of the project include: • Gathering information on available on-site digitization services capable of handling both classified and unclassified federal records • Understanding vendor capabilities in adhering to NARA digitization standards and security protocols for sensitive information • Assessing technical approaches and best practices for large-scale, on-site, compliant digitization • Obtaining budgetary estimates for various service configurations based on the specified requirements • Identifying potential vendors with demonstrated experience in providing secure, on-site digitization to federal government agencies
