Notice of Intent to Award to Sole Source -COOLED STACK SERVICE CONTRACT

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) intends to award a sole-source contract to Trajan Scientific Americas, Inc. for the maintenance and technical support of existing laboratory instrumentation. The contract includes preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance and repair, technical support, software and firmware updates, replacement parts, and system performance verification. The requirement is for the maintenance of Trajan CTC Analytics instrumentation and proprietary software environment, and Trajan Scientific Americas is the only known source capable of providing these services. • The contract is for commercial products or services. • The contract is a firm-fixed-price contract. • The Government requires continued maintenance and technical support services for existing Trajan Scientific Americas laboratory instrumentation. • The equipment utilizes proprietary Trajan hardware, Chronos software, and associated software packages. • The services are required to maintain the equipment in accordance with the manufacturer's specifications and ensure uninterrupted laboratory operations.
