Description
The project involves the refurbishment of an existing elevated tank, including interior coating, painting, and coating of a 1.0-million-gallon multi-leg steel elevated storage tank. The project also includes interior tank accessories replacements and repairs, as well as add alternates for safety improvements to the roof, upgrade of the main balcony handrail, and other repairs. A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting was held on November 20, 2025. The bid submission deadline is December 18, 2025.
• The project requires a lump sum and unit price basis bid with add alternate bid items.
• Bidders must have a license to do work as a general contractor in the State of North Carolina.
• A non-collusion affidavit is required.
• Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
• Good Faith effort outreach to Minority Businesses (HUB Certified) and Small Businesses shall be documented.
